Sid Barsuk is a seasoned executive who has spent over twenty-five years in senior management in both the charitable and for-profit sectors. He has served as Vice President for Development and has been chief administrator for management assessment centers.

He has developed leadership programs and has helped organizations grow by assessing the organizational strengths, then developing plans around them. He has built and trained boards and committees and has worked closely with corporate CEO’s and political leaders at the national, state, and local levels.

He recently was a Visiting Professor of Management and Marketing at Roosevelt University, and has been an adjunct faculty member at three other Chicagoland Universities, teaching Leadership, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Communications, Marketing, and Assessment Management to MBA and Senior-level students.

He holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has managed a congressional campaign and chaired a successful school tax increase referendum. He served as Vice President and Chairman of the Finance and Property Committee for 13 years as an elected school board member.

Sid has helped organizations stay open and grow through strategic focus, organizational development, and fundraising. He has administered a managerial assessment center for a major Chicago corporation; evaluated management staff for growth, promotion, and development; implemented and managed the change process; developed educational curriculum; facilitated large groups for learning and consensus; managed projects; and written and produced resource material (brochures and videos). He has built and rebuilt community organizations into self-sufficient entities.

 He has helped many different types of organizations, which include: YWCA of Gary, School District 151, School District 153, US Cellular, Ameritech, PNC Mortgage, Hebrew Academy of Northwest Indiana, J. Leslie Rosenblum Boys and Girls Club, South Side YMCA, Jackson Park Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and Health Center, Highland Park Hospital, Five Hospital Foundation, Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce, South Shore Chamber of Commerce, South Shore Redevelopment Center, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Northwood Institute.
