Background:

Beth Lisberg Najberg brings over fifteen years of consulting experience in a variety of private organizations to the nonprofit sector. Beth has developed training ranging from technical topics to sales training to customer service training through BeginningsDesign.com. Private sector clients include telecommunications, food distribution, a major airline, a wholesale horticultural broker, and an engineering firm.

As she developed the training, she realized that how a message is communicated is often as important as what is communicated: people remember the content when the speaker, the visual components, and handout are coordinated and concise.

Based on that experience, plus background in graphic design, Beth has developed a training program on creating effective PowerPoint® programs.

Services Provided:

Beginnings provides presentation skills training so you can get your message across effectively. Electronic media are relatively easy to use, but without understanding how they work, you can create presentations that distract and detract from the intended message. We help overcome that by showing you how to appeal to audiences logically and emotionally.

Bite the Bullet® workshops for up to 25 people. The basics of presenting your story using visual and verbal elements, with many examples and exercises. Demonstrations of presentations.

Coaching for groups of 2-5 people. Bring your laptop to practice creating your own presentations, including customized templates. The collaborative environment encourages participants to learn from peers and ask questions.

Consulting with individuals. When clients want customized presentations. We don’t want to put words in your mouth, so clients are very involved in selecting the words and images that bring out the best message.

Clients/Target Market:

We help reach multiple audiences within an organization.

Funding sources. Make your case for your project to foundations and other funding sources such as government agencies.

Stakeholders. Show your results and successes to board members and other businesses that benefit from the organization.

Clients. Create ongoing programs to clients.
