Lisa Moultrie is founder and Principal of Ace Strategies, Inc. She created the consulting firm in 2006 to support the strategic development of nonprofit organizations, schools, foundations, and small businesses. Ms. Moultrie has nearly 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and has worked in the areas of education, the arts, and community development. Her clients have included The Chicago Community Trust, Ada S. McKinley, Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Teachers’ Center, and Grand Victoria Foundation.
For over three years, Ms. Moultrie was Director of Arts for Learning/Chicago, a professional development program for teachers using the arts in classrooms. For nearly eight years, Ms. Moultrie worked in the philanthropic field. She was Senior Program Officer at the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and Program Officer at The Hitachi Foundation in Washington, D.C. Additionally, she has worked in educational research studying issues such as school governance and desegregation. She has worked at the Center for School Improvement at the University of Chicago, the former Department of Research, Evaluation, and Planning at the Chicago Public Schools, and the Chicago Urban League.
Ms. Moultrie has taught classes and workshops at The University of Chicago, North Park University, and Chicago State University. She has a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and a M.A. from the University of Chicago.
