Dr. Zegel of Effective Organizations has over 20 years’ experience helping organizations improve both their effectiveness and their efficiency. Three main goals are to help clients identify and prioritize key constituency needs, assess their organizations’ capabilities to meet those needs, and develop strategic plans to improve performance and “grow” the organization.
To achieve these goals, we design feedback processes; assess and improve organization structures and business processes; facilitate planning and problem-solving groups; and train and coach key personnel to support new, higher levels of performance. We build on client expertise in a highly interactive partnership that recognizes the unique culture and environment of each client’s organization.
As Special Assistant to the deputy director of a 20,000 person public agency,
Dr. Zegel coordinated global strategic planning and process improvement programs, conducted organizational and program assessments, and consulted on customer and employee surveys.
In 1991 Dr. Zegel launched Effective Organizations and expanded her work to the non-profit and private sectors. Since then, she has managed numerous projects and facilitated hundreds of hands-on, practical workshops in her areas of expertise.
