Membership Overview

ACN members represent many disciplines—including administration, board development, financial management, fundraising, government relations, graphic design, human resources, information systems, legal services, marketing and public relations, organizational development, public policy, real estate, and strategic management and planning—the full range of professional services nonprofits need.  While most of our members are in the Chicago area and our educational programs and networking sessions are in Chicago, we welcome members from around the country to join us.

Membership Categories

ACN offers various membership categories. 

Full Membership: Individual - Select this category if your consulting practice would not exist without you.  You may be a sole practitioner or work with a staff; however, you make it happen. 

Full Membership: Organizational - Select this category if you are part of a consulting firm that employs many consultants.  Your organization would continue to be viable without you, though they would miss you.

Programmatic Membership - This category is geared to members of nonprofit organizations interested in affiliating with ACN to attend programs and network with consultants.

ACN Partner - This level is geared to vendors and businesses that work with nonprofit organizations and want to be affiliated with ACN.

Current Dues

• Full Membership: $225 for Individuals ($175 first year offer) / $350 for Organizations 
• Programmatic Membership: $150 for individuals (organization membership not available)
• ACN Partner $250 for small businesses and organizations (under $500,000 revenue) and $500 for large businesses
