Testimonial 1
"The video really was a great call to action. And encouraged donors, and put a little pressure off our emcee to share the story. It was an unprecedented amount that we raised, we’ve never gotten to six figures in our fund-a-need program before.” Kelsey Gibbs, Former Development Director, Wolf River Conservancy
Testimonial 2
“We are seeing a 25% increase in the number of organ donors...we’re constantly getting feedback from the community saying ‘I’ve seen the video. I was very touched by the video. And, you know, it sparked me to have a conversation with my family and friends about it.” Kim Van Frank, Executive Director, Midsouth Transplant
Testimonial 3
so inspirational, but not only that: It was actionable. Asking questions helps us learn more about people, things, etc. It helps us grow and improve” and I can’t wait to improve upon my communication by incorporating more questions regularly.”

Speaker's Bureau Information

Speaker Bio
Lauren Ready is a keynote speaker and the Principal Storyteller of Forever Ready Productions, a video production company with headquarters Memphis, Tennessee. A 6-time regional Emmy award winner, Lauren is passionate about asking questions that challenge us to go deeper and telling stories that inspire action.

Her production company creates impactful videos for nonprofits and businesses, enabling them to realize and harness their collective purpose. Her mission-driven videos have helped nonprofits raise over $17 million.

Lauren began her TV news career at 17 as a production assistant. She then spent ten years as a video journalist, covering local and national breaking news across Iowa, Nebraska, and Memphis.

In 2014, she founded Forever Ready Productions to make video storytelling accessible to nonprofits. Her company has been recognized with the Small Business of the Year Award from the Memphis Business Journal. Lauren has also been named both a Super Woman in Business and a Top 40 Under 40 by the Memphis Business Journal.

She is a 2024 Evident Change Just Society Awards Finalist for her short documentary film “What We Will Never Know,” which explores the story of a teen who falsely confessed to murder. The project helped change child interrogation laws in Tennessee and has received awards from the Lane Doc Film Festival and Indie Memphis Film Festival, making her one of the most decorated filmmakers in the festival’s 25-year history.

Today, Lauren lives in Memphis with her husband, Scott, and their son, Max. She’s a certified drone pilot—proudly among the less than 6% of U.S. certified drone pilots who are women—and is on a mission to visit all the National Parks with her son, with her camera always in hand.

Nearly 70% of employees say they would work harder if they felt their voices were heard. How can you help your team feel heard? Ask better questions.

In this talk, Lauren takes you on a journey into the art and science of inquiry. Explore how shifting from having all the answers to focusing on asking the right questions can unlock deeper understanding, drive innovation, and lead to impactful storytelling.

Lauren demonstrates how curiosity-driven questions can reveal untold stories within your team, reimagine narratives that shape lives, and uncover innovative ideas that propel personal and organizational success. Through real-world examples and practical strategies, attendees will learn how to harness curiosity as a tool to bridge the gap between current realities and envisioned futures.
