Testimonial 3
Clarity helped our organization with our three year strategic plan. Julia worked well with our board and staff and got everyone engaged in the process (not always an easy thing to do!). We were looking for a different approach from our current plan and she really hit the nail on the head! Excellent value for the cost and time involved. It was a real pleasure working with her.
Elizabeth Howe, ED

Topic 1
Retention & Succession
Topic 1 Description
Retaining staff members and helping them prepare for their next position within an organization is a challenge facing most organizations, and one which is compounded in striving for equity.
Our work is infused in equity and brings deep experience in nonprofit executive transitions. We have seen too many organizations unprepared to promote their next leader from their internal staff members and struggling to retain the staff that they have. The strategies for retention and succession planning have significant overlap. We talk about how to use an equity lens and a very pragmatic approach to helping organizations start to implement equitable practices and achieve positive impacts on retention, succession, and mission delivery.
Topic 2
Emergency Succession Planning and Preparation
Topic 2 Description
Many questions and decisions can be made to prepare for an eventuality that you hope never to see. This common-sense preparation can smooth unexpected leadership gaps and reassure the people you serve, your staff, and your funders that the mission will stay on track through change.
