ACN Resilience In Practice Series

Wednesday, May 21, 2025
12:00 - 1:00 pm CST

MEMBERS ONLY

Come together with fellow ACN members to discuss the ripple effect that government funding cuts are having in the nonprofit sector. As nonprofit consultants operating in the current environment, many of us are tasked with helping organizations reassess their fundraising strategies and how they engage with partners. The more we know about philanthropic trends, the better we can serve nonprofits. In this session of the Resilience in Practice series, together we will explore questions like:

-What does this moment mean for philanthropy as a whole?

-How are corporate and foundation donors adjusting their priorities, funding models, and employee engagement strategies?

-What trends are emerging in how nonprofits approach fundraising and partnerships?

-How are these shifts impacting the nature of consulting work—particularly as clients seek support with strategic planning, impact storytelling, and fundraising diversification?

-How are fellow consultants adapting to changing client needs, tighter budgets, and heightened expectations?

Our facilitators Marcia Roeder and Ann Matz-Tirado will bring their knowledge of trends in foundation and corporate giving, as well as data-driven insights from their recent survey of NGO and corporate responsibility professionals.

Amidst this time of instability and uncertainty, join us to collectively explore and make sense of the changes we are living through, so that we can best serve nonprofits and their causes.

Please send an email to execdirector@acnconsult.org with questions.
